The seven long-distance cycle routes in Rhineland-Palatinate cover a total distance of over 1,200 kilometres through the main river valleys in the region.
The Rhine Cycle Route and the Moselle Cycle Route are the most familiar to cyclists in Germany. Both enjoy cult status and rank in the country's top ten most popular long-distance routes.
But more and more people are also choosing the routes that follow the Ahr, Lahn, Kyll, Saar and Nahe rivers.
